Complete the form only once whether you are registering one or two teams. Registration for the 2024-25 season is open! This year’s registration fee will be $200 per team. Registration will close on December 31, but teams will still be accepted (with a $50 late fee) until January 20. The deadlines refer only to filling out the registration form; payment can be made afterward!

Pay your registration fee:

Of your $200 registration fee, $75 will be sent to the national office as a compulsory fee while the rest will be put towards the state tournament and our hosts. Please inform the state director if payment will serve as a barrier to your team competing. Your school will be sent an invoice after you fill out the registration form, so look out for an email from tournament staff after completing step 1.

Complete this once for each team you are registering. If the same group of coaches are accompanying each team, they can be repeated on each form. Recall that no more than five ninth graders (B) or seven twelfth graders (C) may be on the roster. If you wish to register alternates for your team, contact the state director. This form can be emailed to the state director or mailed to South Carolina Science Olympiad, though note that they must be received by competition day.

Complete this once for each team you are registering. This is not binding, it just gives us a better idea of how to prepare for competition day. If you need to make a change after you've submitted the form, contact the state director.

Once you have filled out the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email from tournament staff. Once all forms have been completed and submitted, and payment has been received, you will receive another email with confirmation that you are all set to compete!
